NGN Advisor

Todd joined NGN as a Strategic Advisor in 2023 and his extensive experience further builds our capabilities in the areas of research & development, technology, intellectual property, clinical research and nutrition. He was the Senior Vice President of Research and Nutrition for Mondelēz International (formerly Kraft Foods), responsible for worldwide technology development and strategy, long term cross category research, analytical sciences, open innovation, consumer insights and knowledge management. Prior to Mondelēz, Todd held previous leadership positions in Marketing, General management and R&D at Nabisco, Pillsbury and Procter & Gamble in both North America and International. Todd has a Sc.B. in Chemistry at Brown University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in Strategic Planning from The Wharton School.

Todd is known for his work on innovation culture, technology partnerships and Open Innovation. He has been an invited speaker at the Institute of Food Technology, Product Development Management Association, International Union of Food Science and Technology, and Israeli Food Technology annual meetings.

Todd is the currently the Treasure for USP (www.usp.org, an independent, scientific nonprofit organization focused on building trust in the supply of safe, quality medicines) and the chair of the Internationally Advisory Committee for the Monell Chemical Senses Institute (www.monell.org ). Todd has been a mentor and counselor to start-up companies and a venture fund liaison and is currently advising numerous startups and a mentor for New Mexico State University’s Ag Accelerator program.
